# What is Provalytics?

> A plain-English overview of what Provalytics does and how it helps marketing teams prove incremental impact.

## Overview

Provalytics is a marketing intelligence and measurement platform built to help teams understand the true incremental impact of their media investments.

It exists for marketers and agencies who need better answers than platform-reported attribution, and for executives who need a finance-grade explanation of what marketing is actually doing for the business.

It answers questions like:

* Which channels are creating demand instead of just capturing it?
* Which campaigns are driving incremental outcomes?
* Where do we have room to spend more?
* Which channels are saturated?
* How should we explain marketing performance to finance, leadership, and clients?

## Why Provalytics is different

Many reporting tools rely on user-level tracking, click paths, pixels, cookies, or platform-reported attribution. Those methods often over-credit the last touchpoint and under-credit channels that influence demand earlier in the journey.

Provalytics takes a different approach. It uses aggregated marketing, website, and conversion data to estimate what would have happened without each marketing activity, then compares that baseline to actual performance.

That difference is incrementality.

Just as importantly, Provalytics was built for the messy reality of enterprise data. The platform is designed to work not only with native connectors, but also with custom data layers, warehouse feeds, shared storage, recurring file delivery, and other structured non-conforming sources.

## Who uses Provalytics?

Provalytics is used by:

* Marketing leaders who need to defend budget decisions
* Analysts who need a cross-channel view of performance
* Agencies that need to show client impact beyond platform reports
* Finance and executive teams that want a more credible read on media contribution

## What Provalytics helps you do

With Provalytics, you can:

* Understand incremental contribution by channel and campaign
* See how upper-funnel media creates downstream halo effects
* Compare campaign performance using modeled business impact
* Plan budgets using response curves and saturation signals
* Test what-if budget scenarios before moving spend
* Track model freshness and reporting updates
* Export data for reconciliation and analysis

## The main idea

Provalytics is designed to help teams move from:

> "Which platform claimed the conversion?"

To:

> "Which marketing investment actually changed the business outcome?"

## A simple way to explain Provalytics

At the highest level, Provalytics helps teams explain three things clearly:

* **What we measure**: the business result behind the media, not just clicks or form fills
* **Why you can trust it**: the model is built to be validated, not just narrated
* **How it thinks**: it is designed to speak in finance-ready terms such as incremental impact, return, saturation, and budget tradeoffs
