Overview

These three pages work together, but they solve different problems.

Budget Planning

Use Budget Planning when you need to define the budget framework the platform should plan against. This is where you:
  • enter monthly budgets
  • set channel guardrails
  • choose the go-live day for the next budget cycle
Think of this as the operating budget source of truth.

Recommendations

Use Recommendations when you want the model’s best constrained answer right now. This is where Provalytics shows:
  • recommended allocation across channels
  • scenario budget views
  • max daily spend guidance
  • deeper allocation detail inside the media hierarchy
Think of this as the model-led answer.

Scenario Planner

Use Scenario Planner when you want to test a plan deliberately. This is where you:
  • adjust spend intentionally
  • explore what-if allocations
  • compare how a custom plan differs from the baseline or recommended view
Think of this as the user-led answer.

The simplest way to think about it

  • Budget Planning = what budget are we planning against?
  • Recommendations = what does the model think we should do?
  • Scenario Planner = what happens if we try something different?
