Overview

Recurring Email Delivery is another way to get recurring data into Provalytics. This route is useful when a client or partner wants to send recurring data through email rather than through a direct connector, warehouse read, or S3 delivery path.

What it is best for

HelpScout File Feeds are useful when:
  • recurring data can be sent by email
  • the source is easier to deliver as files or links than through a direct connector
  • the delivery pattern is operational and repeatable
  • the source contains custom marketing, website, or conversion data

How it works

Recurring data can be sent to: Supported delivery formats include:
  • CSV
  • Excel
  • ZIP files
  • a link where the data can be retrieved automatically
Important restriction:
  • if a link is used, the file must download automatically
  • the file cannot be password protected

How to enable it

Work with your CSR to have recurring email delivery enabled for your account. This route works best when:
  • the same file structure is delivered each time
  • the recurring feed follows a stable cadence
  • the upstream team uses a repeatable naming and delivery pattern
That makes the delivery easier to operationalize and more reliable over time.
