Overview

Manual File Uploads are the most direct file-ingestion option when a recurring connector is not yet in place.

What it is best for

Manual uploads are useful when:
  • a client is onboarding
  • a historical backfill is needed
  • a one-time correction or special file needs to be loaded
  • the recurring operational route has not been set up yet

When not to rely on them

Manual uploads are less ideal when:
  • the same files arrive every day or every week
  • a connector or file-feed route could replace repeated manual work
  • the team needs stronger operational reliability
Manual uploads are best treated as a practical tool, not the long-term answer for recurring delivery.

How to enable it

Work with your CSR if your team needs manual upload support as part of onboarding, backfills, or exception handling.
