Overview

Provalytics uses a Windsor-backed Google Ads connector when Google Ads is part of the client’s marketing mix.

What it is used for

This connector is typically used to bring Google Ads marketing data into Provalytics, such as:
  • spend
  • impressions
  • clicks when available
  • campaign and channel metadata
That data helps power the marketing layer used in modeling and reporting.

When it is a good fit

Use the Google Ads connector when:
  • Google Ads is a meaningful paid media source
  • the account needs recurring data refreshes
  • the client wants an ongoing connection instead of file delivery

Important note about YouTube

In the current Provalytics onboarding and connector model, YouTube shares the Google Ads connection path on the Windsor side. That means a Google Ads connection can satisfy both:
  • Google Ads
  • YouTube
when the source structure supports it.

What to expect during setup

During onboarding, Provalytics typically confirms:
  • the relevant Google Ads account access
  • which data should flow into the marketing layer
  • how the source should be labeled or grouped inside reporting
