Overview
Provalytics supports YouTube marketing data through the Windsor-backed Google Ads connection path. How it works
YouTube does not use a separate connector in the current onboarding model. Instead, YouTube is handled through the same Windsor-side datasource used for Google Ads. In practice, that means:- a Google Ads connection may also support YouTube
- YouTube data can still be treated as its own reporting or modeling input once mapped correctly
When it is useful
Use this path when YouTube is part of the client’s paid media mix and should be included in incremental measurement. That is especially important when YouTube contributes to:- awareness
- consideration
- halo effects into search, site visits, or retail outcomes
What to confirm during onboarding
Provalytics typically confirms:- whether YouTube data is available through the Google Ads connection
- how YouTube should be grouped in reporting
- whether YouTube should be interpreted as a distinct channel in analysis
